Soap making

I noticed the other day that we were low on soap. I made my first home batch about a year ago. I have rebatched alot of soap some for home use and some for sales. The last batch was white and mild with goats milk and peppermint oil to scent it. It was heavenly! It cleaned with out stripping the skin and left you refreshed and tingling. This batch is scented with strong Chai green tea and peppermint. It turned out a nice butterscotch color and smells yummy. It is enhanced with palm oil kernels, castor oil, and coaco butter. I will allow it to cure for 24 hours or so and dump it out of the box I am molding it in the cut it into usable bars. It will have to age for 6 weeks and dry out enough to be durable and mild enough for the skin. My only regret is I had no goats milk soap for this batch. But I am looking forward to smelling it when it is done. I will take a few pictures as I unmold it and cut it into bars. All told it took me about an hour from start to finish. I used a stick blender to quicken trace. I will have to locate some more crystal lye for my next batch it is hard to find around here. I added some pictures. The bars looked like butterscotch and smelled good. So I guess I'' wait and see if they turned out.
